  Prices are higher than other area stores. They keep putting cardboard display in the aisles making it difficult to move around especially around the checkout lanes. Doesn't seem to be enough help. Their plastic bags are not as strong as Shop Rite.

  This Stop & Shop is so much better than the one in Toms River the people are better the prices are better all-round great and clean

  Good Stop & Shop. They have everything you want. Deli slicer area is a little dirty. Pharmacy was closed when google said it would be open late at night. Otherwise, standard supermarket.

  I gave this store 3 stars because I feel that it's just an average grocery store. It's not that it's a bad store I just don't feel like it's a store that I want to do my weekly shopping yet every week. I think you should go shopping at this store at least once and make your own decision. For example I eat a lot of seafood and Stop & Shop does not have a fresh seafood department. All of their Seafood is pre-packaged and preweighed and there's not a very large selection. With that being said the only purchase I've ever made is a salmon fillet and it was a very good salmon fillet. I wish they had a fresh seafood department. Another example is their vegetables. I pretty much only buy fresh vegetables. Once again some of their vegetables they just don't have loose for you to choose what you want and how much you want of it. I've gone in there several times to get brussel sprouts, green beans, cauliflower etc. I don't know why but they just don't have certain vegetables loose for you to take what you want. They come in prepackaged bags. If I want to buy brussel sprouts like I have the last two times I've been in there I have to either buy one bag that contains a pound or two bags that are a pound of piece. There's no in-between. They do have a large selection of vegetables but I don't like having to buy pre-packaged bags. With that being said all of the prepackaged bags I have bought have been fresh and tasty but I wish they had more of a selection of loose vegetables that you can choose from. Yesterday was my first trip to the deli I don't usually purchase pre-made salads but I was in a rush and thought I would try them. I got the store brand coleslaw the store brand macaroni salad and the store brand potato salad. I really was not happy with any of them. But then again they were all the store brand I think if I were going to try any of their salads again I would not purchase the store brand but would try one of the other brands. They were all kind of tasteless they definitely needed Salt and Pepper maybe some celery seed and more mayonnaise. The macaroni salad was more than al dente. It definitely needed to be cooked a minute or two longer. It was very firm and still had that really starchy pasta taste. I would not recommend the Stop & Shop brand salads at the deli. Maybe you could ask them for a sample before you purchase something that would be a good idea. Overall they have a large selection throughout the store it's very clean and has large Isles and the staff is always very pleasant. I would say prices are average. Like I said I think this is one of those places where you just need to go shopping once and decide whether you like it or not. I do stop in here all the time to grab things but I do not do my weekly shopping here.
